In this update, Lady Popular removed a ton of the items for him (2,000+ items, 20+ beauty salon items). They compensated us currency-wise. Many players, myself included, are quite disappointed in how they handled this update.
They also removed the party planning stages involving him (barber shop, etc), and took away any items you bought during them if you had already planned your party.
For new players, I think this isn't a bad change. It does make things much easier. However, it feels unfair to long-term players.
